Gynecological procedures are now being performed at Copper Ridge Surgery Center with the state-of-the-art da Vinci Surgical System.
The da Vinci Surgical System is designed to help surgeons perform minimally invasive surgery and provides them with high-definition 3D vision, magnified view, and robotic and computer assistance. The da Vinci Systems are not programmed to perform surgery independently, but instead, the procedure is performed entirely by a surgeon who controls the system.
“The da Vinci Surgical System may be the most effective treatment option, making it a benefit for all women who require surgery for gynecological issues. There are many benefits to the patient by using this robotic-assisted technology. The da Vinci Surgical System is less invasive, and patients experience less scar tissue and less post-op pain. Our surgical patients experience faster recovery and can have their procedure done in an Ambulatory Surgery setting,” states William E. Nowak, D.O.
